The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools
The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools, also known as The Foundation for MERS, is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in the 2009 – 2010 school year by dedicated parents and community members to enhance the education of the students in our district. The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School (MERS) district is comprised of eight schools with The Foundation for MERS supporting kindergarten through eighth grade and serving a population of approximately 5,100 students.
Our board of trustees consists of dedicated volunteers who are strongly committed to collaborating with district administrators and educators, community residents, local businesses, and private foundations to identify and fund educational resources that would not be available through the district funding alone. Our goal is to fund innovative programs and resources that align with the district’s initiatives and curriculum and supportive of a substantial number of students in our schools.
Since our inception, we have provided nearly $600,000 of funding to the MERS District. We aim to ensure the highest level of educational innovation to prepare our students for success in today’s ever changing global economy.
We want to Educate, Enrich, and Empower our students! We welcome your input to bring our students the resources necessary to optimize the learning environment for each child.
To ensure the highest level of educational innovation supporting students, faculty, and staff with community involvement in a partnership of lifetime learning.
That each of our schools has the educational resources necessary for its students to reach their highest learning potential.
