Sneakers, Smiles & School Spirit: 2026 Sneaker Ball Raises $9,000!
The Foundation turned up the music and laced up the sneakers on February 1, 2026, as mothers and sons from across the district gathered for a high-energy night of fun at the annual Sneaker Ball! Held at Battleground Country Club, the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments — all for a great cause.
From the moment families walked in, the excitement was contagious. Dress shoes were swapped for fresh kicks, ties were loosened, and the dance floor quickly became the place to be. Whether it was a choreographed dance-off, a mom-and-son spin under the lights, or an all-out group celebration, the energy in the room never slowed down.
Professional photos captured everything from proud portraits to silly poses and mid-dance action shots, giving families keepsakes to remember this special night together. The joy, the smiles, and the school spirit were on full display.
“There’s something really special about watching moms and sons just let loose and enjoy the moment together,” said Diane Gianettino, Event Coordinator. “The laughter, the dancing, and the sense of community in that room was incredible. It’s nights like this that remind us how strong and supportive our MERS family truly is.”
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our amazing community, the 2026 Sneaker Ball raised $9,000 to support innovative programs, classroom grants, and district-wide initiatives that benefit students throughout the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District.
The Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to every family who attended, our dedicated volunteers who kept the night running smoothly, and Battleground Country Club for providing the perfect backdrop for this celebration. Together, we proved once again that when our community shows up — in style and in sneakers — incredible things happen for our schools!
