The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools is proud to announce the addition of two new trustees

“We are excited to announce the addition of our new trustees, Renee Brown and Ricardo G. Rivers” said Pat Berger, president of the Foundation for MERS. “These individuals are incredibly active in the business communities, and they will be a tremendous asset to The Foundation for MERS.”

 

Renee Brown

Renee and her husband are the owners of American Stair and Rail Artisans in Jackson.  Renee is a former special education teacher and reading specialist which ignited her passion to join The Foundation for MERS. Renee hopes to help enhance The Foundation for MERS with her business connections, fundraising expertise and dedication to helping others. She resides in Manalapan with her husband and two teenage sons.

 

Ricardo G. Rivers

Ricardo is a dedicated financial professional with over 20 years business experience. He currently is an Associate Vice President – Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors. Ricardo is also Treasurer of the Manalapan Business Association, a former Trustee of Franklin & Marshall College and a Past President of the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Board of Directors. Ricardo is enthusiastic about being able to support The Foundation for MERS.  He is married with twin daughters who will be entering the MERS school district in the coming years.


The Foundation for MERS was honored and privileged to be acknowledged by the town and Mayor Cohen at Manalapan’s Township meeting on June 14, 2017. Mayor Cohen expressed her gratitude to the trustees for the contributions they have made to our K-8 schools and students.
