It has been my honor and privilege to serve as President of The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools since it began in the 2009-2010 school year. I founded this foundation with a simple, but powerful mission, “to ensure that every child in our district has the tools they need to reach their full potential”.
Over the past 15 years, I have had the incredible opportunity to work alongside passionate trustees, dedicated educators, generous donors, and an inspiring community, all committed to enhancing the educational experience for our students.
During my time as President, The Foundation has proudly allocated over $1 million in educational resources to our eight schools-an accomplishment made possible through unwavering support of our community driven by an incredibly passionate Board of Directors. I truly believe that, with continued collaboration, we can do even more in the years ahead.
Now, the time has come for me to step down as President and pass the reins to a trusted colleague and committed community leader, Ricardo G. Rivers.
Ricardo has served as a trustee of the Foundation since 2018 and brings with him not only strong financial expertise - as a First Vice President-Investment Officer - but also a deep personal commitment to service. He holds degrees from Franklin & Marshall College, Brooklyn College, and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. More importantly, he has a clear passion for giving back. As a resident of Manalapan, Ricardo is an engaged parent, a community advocate, and someone who cares deeply about the future of our schools and community.
I have the utmost faith that Ricardo will carry forward the passion and purpose that has driven me in this role. His dedication to our mission is clear and I feel fully confident that he will continue to strengthen the Foundation’s impact.
Although I am stepping down as President, I am not stepping away. I will remain involved as a voting trustee and will continue to support the work of The Foundation that means so much to me.
Thank you for your support over the years. Together, we have made a meaningful difference that every child in our district continues to benefit from.
