Pat Berger Honored at The Mayor's Charity Ball

 

Pat Berger is the Founder and President of The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools which began in the 2009-2010 school year. She has guided the Foundation for MERS in its efforts to support the K-8 school district to enhance the education of all its students. Pat is passionate about providing the schools with the necessary tools so each child can reach his or her full learning potential.

Pat is a member of the Manalapan Business Association (MBA), The New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership (NJEFP) and the National School Foundation Association (NSFA). Pat is certified in National University’s Education Foundation Leadership Certification Program.

Prior to The Foundation for MERS, Pat volunteered on many parent-teacher organizations in the district and served as Vice President of Special Events at the Torrey Pines High School Foundation in San Diego. Pat earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook and practiced for 12 years. She and her husband, Brad live in Manalapan and they are proud parents of three children.  In her free time, Pat enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and reading.
