Alpana Prasad

Alpana's passion for children, technology, and community inspired her to become a Trustee of The Foundation for MERS in 2026.

A technology executive with more than 20 years of experience, she has led innovation in LegalTech and compliance through senior leadership roles at Wolters Kluwer’s CT Corporation and Bizee. Today, she works as a Fractional CTO and advisor at the intersection of data and AI, helping organizations build intelligent systems grounded in trusted knowledge.

She believes today’s children are coming of age during one of the most consequential periods in modern history. She is passionate about helping them embrace AI’s extraordinary potential while preserving what makes us human: kindness, values, curiosity, independent thought, and consideration for others.

At home, Alpana and her husband are raising two children: a 20-year-old son who attended MERS and a 9-year-old daughter who is currently a MERS student. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, exploring nature, and photographing wildlife with her family.
