Sapna Parekh
Sapna Parekh joins The Foundation with nearly two decades of multifaceted leadership experience. As the Vice President of Human Resources for a premier retail and fine jewelry firm, Sapna oversees a workforce of over 1,000 employees. Her expertise extends beyond traditional HR, encompassing critical legal and commercial governance, risk mitigation, and the development of robust compliance frameworks.
Before her current executive position, Sapna spent 15 years specializing in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations. This extensive operational experience enables her to offer a unique, comprehensive perspective to the Board’s strategic initiatives. She is excited to apply this diverse skill set to the Foundation's mission, ensuring the district's programs are supported by strong governance and innovative growth.
Outside of the boardroom, Sapna is a passionate artist whose talent was specifically commissioned by a restaurant owner to design and execute a custom nine-foot mural—a project that reflects her ability to balance fine detail with 'big picture' execution.
Above all, she finds her greatest joy in watching her daughter grow and thrive in the community they call home.
